We contacted GYG who were able to find this out for us, but it meant very little sleep. Advice is to contact GYG earlier if needed, but it didn’t seem to be a common issue. Pick up was on time (3.50), and our guide Ismail and Egyptologist Hoda (as well as both drivers AND security) were all an absolute delight. Pit stop at 6.20am (decent toilets all day and change is given in several currencies) and then breakfast bags…”
